Welcome to Doc Hollyday.com! We are certified NRA Training Counselors. We are certified to instruct all NRA courses including instructor candidates. We are California Department of Justice (CA DOJ) Handgun Safety instructors. We have taught firearm safety for many years. All support staff are NRA certified instructors.
We teach firearm safety in accordance with the standards dictated and list on the NRA website http://www.nrahq.org/
We teach firearm safety which includes the following:
- How to safely handle a shotgun, rifle, handgun, or black powder rifle.
- Identify the parts of a shotgun, rifle, handgun, or black powder rifle.
- Identify the proper ammunition for a shotgun, rifle, or handgun.
- Proper control of a firearm
- Proper cleaning of a firearm
We will also provide a California Department of Justice Handgun Safety Class to those students that need to take a handgun safety class and need a California Department of Justice Handgun Safety certificate
